Marketry, is centered on the theme "Disrupt or Be Disrupted." Set to take place on April 9, 2025, at the PSGIM Convention Hall in Coimbatore, this event will bring together industry leaders and innovators to explore the shifts in consumer behavior, branding, and market dynamics that define today's business landscape.
Marketry hallmarks the 60th year Celebrations of PSGIM, a premier business school in India, part of the PSG & Sons' Charities Trust. The institute is known for its focus on experiential learning, industry collaboration, and social responsibility. PSGIM offers a range of management programs designed to develop future business leaders and entrepreneurs, with a curriculum emphasizing innovation, ethics, and sustainability.
In an era where change is the only constant, Marketry aims to equip businesses with actionable strategies to not only survive but thrive in a competitive environment. The conclave will feature a series of insightful sessions, engaging discussions, and expert-led talks designed to foster innovation and drive long-term growth.
The day-long event boasts an impressive lineup of speakers, each a prominent figure in their respective fields. The conclave kicks off with an inaugural welcome by Dr. V Srividya, Director of PSG Institute of Management, followed by an introduction to the theme by Prof. SB Srinivasan, Dean - Industry Engagements.
Session 1, titled "Disrupt to Lead - Future-Proofing Brands," will feature Raghu B Viswanath, Founder of Vertebrand, who will delve into how brands can proactively reinvent themselves to stay ahead, adapt to changing markets, and achieve sustained success. Viswanath's expertise in brand valuation and strategic positioning promises to offer attendees valuable insights into navigating disruption.
Following this, Session 2, "Sustaining Disruption - Beyond the Breakthrough," will feature Mr. C.N. Ashok, Managing Director of Autoprint. Autoprint, a company with 32 years of experience in the printing machine manufacturing industry, will share lessons on long-term innovation and sustaining disruption over time. The session will also provide insights into Coimbatore's evolving industrial landscape and future opportunities for marketing innovation.
The forenoon sessions will conclude with "Brand Disruption - Breaking the Mold, Building the Future," led by Sridhar Ramanujam, Founder CEO at Integrated Brand-Comm. Ramanujam, an expert in brand strategy and market adaptation, particularly within the confectionery sector, will discuss how to rethink positioning, storytelling, and engagement in an evolving marketplace.
The afternoon sessions will continue with "The Power of Presence," featuring Mr. Jagannath Ramaswamy, Chief Mentor at Crystal, focusing on how offline strategies can build deeper consumer connections. Mr Jagannath will share engaging storytelling techniques on leveraging offline branding to enhance credibility, strengthen consumer relationships, and integrate seamlessly with digital efforts for a holistic marketing impact.
Session 5, "Crafting Memorable Experiences - The Brookefields Approach to Experience Marketing," will be led by N.A. Sujatha, Marketing Manager at Brookefields Mall. This session will explore how curated experiences, ambiance, events, and customer-centric strategies can transform a shopping destination into a lifestyle experience.
In a unique session titled "A Story of Revival: The Ramraj Dothi," Mr. K R Nagarajan, Founder & Chairman of Ramraj Cotton, will share the story of Ramraj. This session will focus on how Ramraj transformed the traditional dhoti from an ordinary piece of cloth to a branded style statement.
The conclave will culminate in a Valedictory Session, "Ancient Wisdom, Future Disruption - India's Global Leadership," featuring Shri Sandeep Singh, Interim Chairman, Board of Governors, Indian Institute of Management, Kashipur. This session will highlight how India's ancient knowledge systems are shaping global innovation, leadership, and business models for the future. Singh will discuss how India's philosophical depth and resilience are positioning it as a global disruptor in areas like AI ethics and sustainable business.
The event will conclude with a summary of key takeaways by Dr. P Nalini and a vote of thanks by Dr. R Chitra, both faculty members in Marketing at PSGIM.
Marketry offers several registration options to accommodate various participants. Early bird registration fees (before April 7, 2025) are ₹1500 for single corporate delegates, ₹1000 per person for group corporate delegates (3 or more), and ₹10,000 for an academic institution package (14 students + 1 faculty). On-spot registration fees are ₹2000 for single corporate delegates, ₹1500 per person for group corporate delegates, and ₹12,000 for the academic institution package.
