Vilvam Chutney

Apart from being just a plant, Vilvam is medicinal and has multifold health benefits. In Indian religion, Vilvam represents Lord Shiva. Most of our religious symbols are also medicinal. It has been widely accepted in Indian Medicine that Vilvam is extraordinarily good for health. Vilvam, when consumed, destroys the ill-effects of the carcinogenic substances consumed by human beings. In order to make it easier and palatable our ancestors have made the Vilvam chutney for the benefit of the society. The one, Dr. Ramakantha, Principal of SFS College is an authority on trees, herbs, and such medicinal recipes. This recipe belongs to the compendium on medicinal food.
