Hare Krishna!
In Vedic scriptures, it is mentioned that Cow is considered equal to our mother and Bull equals our father. During ancient times, simply by nicely protecting Mother Cow and Father Bull, many Saintly kings like Yudhishtira Maharaj, even Lord Ram ruled the world so nicely without any scarcity. All the people were happy. Now the situation is upside down. Once cow stops giving milk, they send her for slaughtering, no need to ask about the Bulls. All most 95 % of bulls are killed immediately after few months of his birth.
“Namo Brahmaṇya-Devāya
Go-Brāhmaṇa-Hitāya Ca
Jagad-Dhitāya kṛṣṇāya
Govindāya namo namaḥ”
"My Lord, You are the well-wisher of the Cows and the Brāhmaṇas, and You are the well-wisher of the entire human society and world." (Viṣṇu Purāṇa 1.19.65)
The purport is that special mention is given in that prayer for the protection of the cows and the Brāhmaṇas. Brāhmaṇas are the symbol of spiritual education, and cows are the symbol of the most valuable food; these two living creatures, the Brāhmaṇas and the cows, must be given all protection—that is real advancement of civilization. In modern human society, spiritual knowledge is neglected, and cow killing is encouraged. It is to be understood, then, that human society is advancing in the wrong direction and is clearing the path to its own condemnation.
They want to kill Cows and Bulls and live happily and peacefully which is not at all possible.
Simply by protecting cows and bulls, whole society and world can be happy.
